Garden Academy’s Virtual Graduation Event Shines Spotlight on Second Cohort’s Remarkable Success 

 On Saturday, May 6, 2023, Garden Academy, Africa’s fastest-growing EdTech, marked a significant milestone as it hosted the closeout event for its second boot camp cohort. Despite the virtual setting, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Garden Academy students worldwide. Esteemed industry experts, along with the entire Garden Academy team, joined the graduating students of the Business Analysis and Product Design boot camps for Cohort 2. 

Kicking off the event was a warm welcome address by Mario Omokaro, Programme Lead at Garden Academy, setting the stage for an inspiring event. Ibitayo Ogunbanwo, Principal of Garden Academy, took the podium next, delivering an opening speech that captivated the audience. He highlighted the outstanding achievements of Garden Academy in a remarkably short time, underscoring the institution’s commitment to nurturing exceptional talents and their positive impact on the tech industry and society at large.

To provide firsthand insights into their transformative experiences, Garden Academy alumni Justina Ezeamii, Oluwabusola Obafemi, and Chinonso Ukadike (GA_Knights) shared heartfelt testimonials. They recounted how Garden Academy propelled their careers and facilitated a smooth transition into new and exciting fields.

Afroeato is an African food delivery app catering to Africans in the United Kingdom, offering a nostalgic taste of home, away from home. The panelists were visibly impressed by the students’ project, applauding their dedication and the comprehensive approach they took. Ify Monyei remarked, “A fantastic start! The holistic journey of this solution is truly commendable.”

Concluding the event, Ibitayo Ogunbanwo delivered closing remarks, expressing gratitude to everyone in attendance and radiating pride in the achievements of the academy’s newest graduates, the GA Knights.
